Brothers and Sisters:
We look in faith to the LORD. In confidence, let us bring our concerns and petitions to the the throne of grace: Now we are the people of God at prayer, and we begin our prayer with silence before the LORD…
And now, let us pray -- Heavenly Father:
WE PRAY: For the Church: that we may understand more deeply our humanity and proclaim the dignity of each person that was revealed by Christ becoming human...
WE PRAY: For a deepening of prayer in our lives: that, like Jesus, we may grow in our relationship with God through prayer and listening...
WE PRAY: For courage: that we may be strengthened to bear the challenges that come to us as followers of Jesus and proclaim by our lives the faithfulness of God...
WE PRAY: For all victims of abuse: that they may hear God’s affirmation that they are beloved and experience healing for their bodies, minds, and spirits...
WE PRAY: for all who are in need of healing: that the Spirit of God will renew and restore the gift of life within them. WE ESPECIALLY PRAY BY NAME FOR
AND FINALLY WE PRAY: For peace in the world: that the light of the God's Word may lead the heads of nations to seek new paths for peace...
Hear now our prayer for your church this morning, as we say: LORD HAVE MERCY…
We ask this through our LORD Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with YOU, and the HOLY Spirit; one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
