Lord God, friend of those in need, your Son
Jesus is untying our burdens and healing our
spirits, And so, we lift up in prayer from our
heart those still burdened, those seeking
healing, and those in need within the church
and the world.
An now...
WE PRAY: For the Church: that we may passionately call out to Christ for our needs and courageously respond to Christ’s invitation...
WE PRAY: For the grace to risk: that we may sincerely seek the deepest desire that God has placed in our hearts and pursue their fulfillment even when the path is unclear...
WE PRAY: For a growth in faith: that we may each come to greater trust and reliance upon God in every area of our lives through the witness and encouragement of fellow believers...
WE PRAY: For all who are searching for God: that their eyes and hearts may be opened to the many manifestations of God’s love for them...
WE PRAY: For greater trust in times of difficulty: that we may be sustained by God’s promise to be with us always and to never forget us...
WE PRAY: For all who are in need of healing: that the Spirit of God will renew and restore the gift of life within them. WE ESPECIALLY PRAY BY NAME FOR:
AND FINALLY WE PRAY: For Peace: that God will guide the leaders of nations as they strive to contain nuclear weapons and guide them in finding new paths of dialogue to resolve disputes...
Hear now our prayers, that we may love you with our whole being and willingly share the concerns of our neighbors, as we say: LORD HAVE MERCY…
We ask this through our LORD Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with YOU, and the HOLY Spirit; one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
