Brothers and Sisters:
We seek the mighty God in the most unlikely places as a child in a stable, and in an empty tomb. May God hear these prayers, which come from the unlikely corners of our lives...
WE PRAY, for the Church: that we may surrender our anxieties to You, Father, and trust in Your providence for all our needs...
WE PRAY, for the grace of gratitude: that we may recognize and rejoice in all the blessings, opportunities, and gifts that You have given us...
WE PRAY, for the grace of freedom and openness: that You would free us from judging others and help us to grow in our ability to see them as sisters and brothers with fears and wounds just like ourselves...
WE PRAY, for all who feel overwhelmed by life: that God’s message of "have no fear" may renew their hearts and fill their spirits with hope...
WE PRAY, for all who are gathered here: that our love may grow deeper and more sincere and that it be manifest in words and actions toward all whom God brings into our lives...
WE PRAY: for all who are in need of healing: that the Spirit of God will renew and restore the gift of life within them. WE ESPECIALLY PRAY BY NAME FOR:
WE PRAY: for all who strive for peace: Give them new vision and courageous hearts to work toward turning swords into plowshares and spears into pruning hooks...
Hear now our prayers, that we may love you with our whole being and willingly share the concerns of our neighbors, as we say: LORD HAVE MERCY…
We ask this through our LORD Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with YOU, and the HOLY Spirit; one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
