Brothers and Sisters:
We seek the mighty God in the most unlikely places as a child in a stable, and in an empty tomb. May God hear these prayers, which come from the unlikely corners of our lives...
WE PRAY, For the Church: that our hearts may leap for joy as we recognize God-with-us in the people and events of our lives...
WE PRAY, For the grace to more fully listen: that we may hear the fullness of Your message as it comes to us in word, in the lives of others, and in the events of our lives, and have the courage to respond in faith and love...
WE PRAY, for the grace of freedom and openness: that You would free us from judging others and help us to grow in our ability to see them as sisters and brothers with fears and wounds just like ourselves...
WE PRAY, for all who feel overwhelmed by life: that God’s message of "have no fear" may renew their hearts and fill their spirits with hope...
WE PRAY, For those who have no heat or nowhere to rest this day: that hearts may respond to the needs of the poor and homeless this day...
WE PRAY: for all who are in need of healing: that the Spirit of God will renew and restore the gift of life within them. WE ESPECIALLY PRAY BY NAME FOR:
WE PRAY: For the gift of peace; for peace in our hearts, our families and our communities: that we may recognize the goodness that You have placed in each person even when it is hidden under pain and fear....
Hear now our prayers, that we may love you with our whole being and willingly share the concerns of our neighbors, as we say: LORD HAVE MERCY…
We ask this through our LORD Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with YOU, and the HOLY Spirit; one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
